Party Trick provides audio, lighting, DJ, and video production for weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, and community events.
We specialize in the space between DIY event AV and large-scale production: Events that deserve professional equipment, thoughtful system design, and experienced technical execution without the scale or overhead of a large production company.

AUDIO
Our core audio systems are built around QSC professional powered loudspeakers and subwoofers, paired with professional digital mixing and Shure wireless microphone systems.
That gives us the flexibility to build systems for everything from an intimate wedding ceremony to a larger reception, corporate event, or outdoor gathering.
Depending on the event, we can provide:
• QSC powered PA systems sized and deployed for the space and audience
• QSC subwoofers for DJ, dance-floor, and music-forward applications
• Shure wireless handheld and lavalier microphone systems
• Digital mixing for multiple microphones, playback sources, and event inputs
• Dedicated ceremony, cocktail-hour, and reception systems
• Multiple audio zones when an event spans several spaces
• Professional stands, cabling, power distribution, and cable management
• On-site technical operation when the event requires it
The important part isn't simply bringing speakers. We consider coverage, headroom, speaker placement, gain structure, feedback management, RF coordination, power, event flow, and redundancy when designing the system.
For planners, that means you don't need to decide whether the client needs two speakers, four speakers, a subwoofer, a mixer, or another wireless channel. Give us the venue, guest count, floor plan, timeline, and requirements, and we'll recommend the system.
LIGHTING
Our lighting inventory will be centered around professional wireless LED uplighting and DMX-controlled event fixtures, allowing us to build lighting packages that can range from subtle architectural enhancement to a complete dance-floor environment.
Applications can include:
• Wireless battery-powered uplighting
• Architectural and room lighting
• DJ and dance-floor lighting
• Stage and presentation lighting
• Accent lighting for bars, cakes, entrances, signage, and other focal points
• Programmed lighting scenes for different portions of an event
• DMX control rather than relying exclusively on sound-activated fixtures
Our approach is intentionally event-focused: lighting should support the planner's design and the photographer's work, not compete with either.
DJ SERVICES
Our DJ system is designed as part of the larger production environment rather than as a standalone entertainment setup.
Party Trick DJ packages can integrate:
• Professional DJ controller and software
• QSC mains and subwoofers
• Wireless microphones
• Dance-floor lighting
• Uplighting
• Ceremony audio
• Cocktail-hour audio
• Reception sound
• Special playback requirements
This lets us provide one coordinated technical solution across the event rather than requiring the planner to reconcile separate ceremony-audio, lighting, DJ, and AV vendors.
It also means we're happy to work alongside another DJ. If your preferred DJ needs ceremony coverage, additional PA, wireless microphones, projection, uplighting, or technical support, Party Trick can provide the production infrastructure while the DJ remains the entertainment provider.
VIDEO + PROJECTION
Our video systems are designed around professional high-output laser projection, rather than consumer home-theater projectors.
Our planned projection inventory includes high-brightness laser projectors in the professional event-production class, paired with appropriately sized fast-fold projection screens and professional playback, signal distribution, and audio support.
Depending on the application, we can support:

• Video audio routed through the event PA

For larger outdoor screenings—such as community movie nights approaching 150–200 guests—we can scale beyond our core inventory through rental and production partners rather than trying to force an undersized system into the application.
We specify projection based on screen size, throw distance, audience viewing distance, ambient light, content, sightlines, and environment rather than quoting a projector based solely on lumen output.
